那天在整理檔案的時候,突然發現了這道牛肉烤餅的食譜,好懷念啊!這可是Vita十年前新婚時,常常做給老公吃的一道菜,當時的我,完全是廚房的初級生,但這道料理,簡單至極,每每上桌,老公一定馬上給它清空。事隔8年多再次回味,老公驚喜不已,一直說我一定得做給他老爸吃。上面烤得金黃的司康餅,加上濃郁的肉醬,像爸爸這種只吃西方料理的老外,一定會愛死的。如果你家中也有比較挑嘴的老外家夫,這道保證他們超愛。
I remember this dish was one of the dishes I often cooked
for my hubby when we just got married 10 years ago. And back then, I didn’t
really know how to cook but I knew if I cooked this dish, hubby will finish it
with no time. It is a mince dish covered by a layer of scones, and seriously, who doesn’t like
those combinations? It is super easy to make and extremely delicious.

烤箱預熱180度C / Pre-heat the oven 180C |

1. 將洋蔥炒軟,加入牛肉炒5分鐘,再加入麵粉、蕃茄醬、白酒、辣黑醋醬、芥末醬、醃小黃瓜、高湯,煮2-3鐘 ,最後用鹽、黑胡椒、蘿絲瑪麗調味。做好的肉醬倒入烤盤中,備用。
1. Heat the oil in the pan and fry the onion until just
soften and add beef mince, fry for another 5 minutes. Then add flour, tomato
sauce, white wine, worcestershire sauce, stock, Gherkin, French mustard; blend anything together; season
with salt, black pepper and rosemary. Dish the mince to a baking tray and set to one side.
2. 做上層餅皮。將所有餅皮材料混合(牛奶除外),揉成麵糰,記得水要慢慢加,不然麵糰會太濕無法操作(水量可以自行控制,可以不用全加)。將麵糰擀成1公分高的餅皮,再用水杯切成圓型餅塊。
2. Making topping.
Mix flour, salt and butter in a bowl to
make a dough. Slowly add water and bring the mixture together. You may not need all the water. Try not to overwork the mixtrue by mixing it too much as this will toughen the end result. Tip the mixture onto a floured surface and bring together to form a soft
dough. Form the dough into a rough circle keeping it quite thick,
about 1cm.
3. 將餅皮排在肉醬上,表面刷點牛奶或蛋液, 放入烤箱烤25-30分鐘,至表面金黃。
3. Place all the scones on top of the mince, brush the tops of
the scones with milk. Bake it for 25-30 minutes until surface is golden.
4. 淋上一點肉汁(Gravy),味道更佳。
4. Serve with gravy sauce.
